Mentoring for Translators or Interpreters (20 NAATI points)
We’ll put you in touch with an experienced NAATI-credentialed translator or interpreter who will mentor you for up to two hours via email. This is a great opportunity to refine your skills as well as qualifying for 20 NAATI professional development points.
Learn from a peer and gain valuable new skills.
Learning from colleagues and industry peers is a great opportunity for every translator and interpreter, so it’s no wonder that mentoring is an item in the NAATI Recertification Professional Development Catalogue. One-on-one interaction can see many questions answered a lot more efficiently than in a classroom environment.
In our mentoring program, we pair you up with an experienced NAATI-credentialed translator or interpreter who will become your mentor and assist you by email to help you become a more professional and more ethical translator or interpreter.
This service includes the following:
- A review of your professional profile to find the best mentor for you
- Introduction to your mentor
- Up to two hours of mentoring over three months by email
- A certificate of completion of the mentorship program.
