Our assessments give you the opportunity to practice training and assessing in your area of expertise. This is a great way to build confidence and customise the course to your needs.
The assessment component of our course is blended with online and offline components. Many of the units in the TAE40116 require access to a suitable practice environment where you have access to learners so that you can practice training and assessing them. If you don't currently have a workplace that is a suitable practice environment we do provide a "simulated" practice environment that is accessed online, over the phone and through Skype. This simulated environment will provide a good practice environment for you for most of the units. Some of the units require you to teach and assess students face-to-face. For these units you will need to find a suitable workplace to complete the assessments that require you to have face-to-face interaction with students.
