PPP PRODUCTIVITY PLACES PROGRAM

The Productivity Places Program (PPP) is an Australian Government initiative that provides fully funded training programs to long term unemployed jobseekers (PPP), as well as those who have recently been retrenched (TPPP). It is a great way to improve your skills so you can find gainful employment. This program provides new training places in skills and occupations employers are seeking and is designed to help you secure long term employment.

The Federal Government PPP has now been transferred to each state and territory and delivery of courses under these programs is still under negotiation. So keep checking below for more information on courses available through Connect Training Group, in your State/Territory, as funding becomes available.

PPP ACT

Do you reside in the ACT and currently unemployed? If so you may be eligible to enrol in the TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, with Connect Training Group, at no cost to YOU! This training program is jointly funded by the Commonwealth and ACT Government. Contact us NOW for more information on the eligibility requirements.

PPP TASMANIA

Do you reside in TASMANIA and are currently unemployed? If so you may be eligible to enrol in the BSB40207 Certificate IV in Business, with Connect Training Group, at no cost to YOU! This training program is jointly funded by the Commonwealth Government and Skills Tasmania. Contact us NOW for more information on the eligibility requirements.

PPP WA

Do you reside in WA? An Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia, over the age of 15?

We have the following funded training programs available if you meet the eligibility requirements. These programs are jointly funded by the Commonwealth Government and the Government of Western Australia

JOB SEEKERS: Must reside in PERTH.

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate III in Tourism (Guiding) and Certificate IV in Tourism (Guiding).

EXISTING WORKERS: Must reside in the Kimberleys.

Certificate IV in Tourism (Guiding).

Please note the Certificate III and Certificate IV in Tourism are delivered by our co-providers, Industry Accreditation.

TPPP Recently Retrenched?

The Targeted Productivity Places Program (TPPP) is for recently retrenched workers who meet specific eligibility requirements.

At a minimum you must be an Australian resident and in receipt of a separation certificate, however eligibility is based on a case by case basis.

OTHER GOVERNMENT INCENTIVES

CENTRELINK EDUCATION PAYMENTS

Connect Training Group is a preferred supplier for all of our courses with Centrelink (4P819). You may be eligible for education payments while you are studying or training.

Some of the options are:

• Austudy - for full-time students and Australian Apprentices aged 25 years or over.
• Abstudy - offers a range of allowances to assist Indigenous students and Australian Apprentices.
• Pensioner Education Supplement - helps certain income support recipients with education expenses.

SKILL SET SHORT COURSES

If you are registered with an employment service provider you may be eligible to undertake a short course to assist you in developing your skills to help gain employment.

WA: TRAINING THE TRAINER

If you reside in Western Australia (WA) and are involved in working with trainees and/or apprentices, you may be eligible to participate in a course that will provide you with a statement of attainment for 7 units from within the TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. At NO COST TO YOU!

What a great way of working towards achieving this nationally recognised qualification.

This is an incentive of the Western Australian Government.

VIC: PARENTS RETURN TO EARN

If you reside in Victoria (VIC), the Victorian Governments Returning to Earning program provides support to parents to return to work after an absence of caring for their children.

Connect Training Group is a preferred supplier of courses for this program and grants of up to $1000 are available. This can be used towards covering any costs associated with approved training, such as course fees, books, materials, transport and childcare.
